Bought two sets of these and the first set was great the second set did not undergo quality control as one of the chairs from the second set only 3 of the 11 screws lined up. Also the padded part you sit on did not line up and had to force two of those screws in and I’m sure they will not hold up for long.This was easy to assemble. It's a fairly simple design and big. It takes up a lot of space. In person, I don't find it as appealing as other bar stools. The upholstery is well done and a decent material. The design seems like it's missing something. Then I try to get onto the chair, and I realize that maybe what I feel like is missing is some way of climbing onto it. This is a difficult stool to get onto! I'm short enough and old enough that high bar stools can be a challenge, but this is in a class by itself. I think it's because there is just one foot rest bar, square corners, and no backrest or armrests to hold onto. Other stools I have used have some of these elements. Finally, I managed by using the counter and wiggling myself on to it. The stool shakes a little bit, but it is stable. The cushion is thick and will probably be durable, but I found it uncomfortable after a bit. It was hard or just not shaped well for my sitting. The foot rest bar was positioned a little higher than I would have put it. I think a lot of the problems I encountered with this stool was that it's probably more suitable to a certain height, age, agility, and sense of style than I have. For me, this was not a great stool, but probably visitors or family will use it more often.I got this as I needed just one more stool for my counter but I didn't pay attention to the dimensions and it was waaaay too tall. Not anyones fault but my own though. The cushion is pretty comfortable and the material makes it so you can wipe away messes easily and it's nice there is a foot rest. The assembly wasn't terribly complicated. the only complaint I have, is when opening the packaging and getting everything out, there was a bunch of sawdust that came out with this. I'm not sure why as the stool isn't even wood. So I had a mess to clean up but didn't affect the functionality of the chair any. Ultimately I won't be using this but hopefully this helps someone else when deciding whether or not to buy it.Sadly when I opened the box the pieces came out covered with this dirty rust like substance all over them, which got all over my hands. After wiping down all of the pieces I was able to assemble. The installation was very simple and quick, and once put together it does look very nice. Just be careful when opening the box. 4 stars!Even though it had a bit of rust on the legs which is metal, it was pretty easy to install and actually looks good, feels sturdy and is comfortable to seat on.Was quick to assemble and loved the piece overall. Very comfortable and love the look. Great buyI was intimidated by how many pieces this stool has, but actually it was quite easy to assemble. It came with everything needed to put it together, and assembly took me around 30 minutes. The part that took the longest was securing the seat cushion to the rest of the stool. There are about 6 screws that go into the bottom of the seat cushion, and it's difficult to get the stool in the correct place so that all the screws will go in through the metal loops in the frame and into the bottom of the seat. I recommend treating it like changing a tire on your car. Once you get the screws in the holes through the metal loops in the frame, tighten them each into the seat a little bit at a time in turn, that way you can make little adjustments to the stool's position relative to the seat as you go. Don't tighten one all the way, then move on to the next one. You might get stuck with the stool frame in the wrong position to get all the screws in. So at least in my experience, tightening them a little bit at a time will yeild the easiest results.This stool is bar height, which is perfect for my kitchen. It's easy to get into the seat without feeling like I'm going to tip it over, and the cushion is firm yet comfortable. The foot rest bar is also in a comfortable position for me, and I'm 5'6. When I sit on the stool, I feel that it's very stable and feels high quality. I'm super pleased with this seat, and I would be comfortable with guests sitting in it, knowing that it won't fall apart or fall over while they're using it. This was definitely a great choice for my kitchen, and I think it would make a great addition to any kitchen with a bar countertop.I had some trouble assembling the bar stool at first. The main Issue was that there are no written word instructions, just a series of diagrams. Being someone who finds it easier to follow instructions in words rather than diagrams, I got off to a slow start. But once I got the hang of it, I was able to finish assembling it pretty quickly. If you’re someone who is more picture-oriented when it comes to instructions, you’ll likely be able to assemble it quickly and without problems. The bar stool is quite nice. It has a sleek, modern look and is very stable. The seat is very generously sized compared with many other bar stools, is well-padded and very, very comfortable. It’s of excellent quality and truly a bargain at the listed price.
