They are beautiful but not as comfortable as I had hoped. We are bigger people and the seating area is a bit shallow for our comfort. Good quality just a little smaller than a standard round stoolI bought a set of these chairs for my classroom about a year ago, mostly because the chairs were rated for up 350 pounds. I am no where near that weight, but I wanted something that would be safe and sturdy. These chairs were meant to replace my old uncomfortable wood stools that were falling apart after 10 years of use. When I got them, they were more comfortable than my old wood stools, but only slightly. Assembling the chairs were straight forward and easy to complete.Unfortunately, I began to regret my purchase pretty quickly. About 3 months in, the height adjuster started slowly lowering as the day would go on. I'd put it up in the morning, but by the afternoon, it would be much lower. By 6 months, the stool started rocking where the pole meets the base. By the end of the school year (9 months of use), the chair was extremely wobbly and felt very unsafe. I am very disappointed with my purchase of these chairs, because for the price, I would have hoped they would have lasted longer than 1 school year... especially since my $30 wood stools lasted well over 10 years before they became unsafe.Came with a dent in the bottom stand. Noticeable. One squeaks already, but they do hold up so far with wear being that 4 kids are climbing all over them.Contemporary, well-made, love them!I needed chairs for the island in my kitchen and these are pretty decent. They were delivered earlier than stated - Thanks Amazon.Pros:- Easy assembly- Height adjustable- Rubber base keeps floors from getting scuffed- The foot rest is convenientCons:- The base is wide, but has no weight to them so they are pretty easy to move/slip- The seat dips slightly when you sit on it and on numerous occasions, the seat back got jammed under the counter when I got up off of the seat. It hasn't damaged the plastic edge yet, but I know it is just a matter of time before it does.- The seat design is such that when try and sit back, the bump in the middle of the chair pushes against your lower back. In other words, you can't sit all the way back in the seat, but the seats are pretty comfortable.Overall not a bad chair. The cons are more annoying than anything else.I like the colors. I didn’t like the quality. Poor quality and they don’t feel sturdy at the highest setting.The looksThe maker of these bar stools met every criterion of how products should be made and put together. All's I can say is they are excellent. The have cushion-with wipeable material-holds up to 350lbs of weight-Low profile backing with beautiful aesthetic-they swivel-adjustable height-comfortable-very EASY assemble-Readable instructions-no tools needed but the one they supply you to put in 4 screw for each chair. Excellent buy and product. RAVE.
